The Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) programme, developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO), is the world’s largest business management training initiative.

TRAINING TIMELINE
Your Path to Certification
Field Practice
Conduct at least one full SIYB training (e.g., SYB or IYB) for real entrepreneurs. You’ll apply what you learned, document the process, and gather participant feedback.
Assessment & Certification
A Master Trainer will observe your session and evaluate your facilitation. Upon successful assessment, you’ll earn the official SIYB Trainer Certificate endorsed by the ILO.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior training experience?
Not at all! While prior experience is helpful, it's not required. This ToT is designed to equip both new and experienced facilitators with the skills and tools to confidently deliver SIYB content.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes! Upon successful completion and assessment, you’ll receive an ILO-accredited SIYB Training of Trainers certificate, which is internationally recognised.
How can I become a licensed SIYB trainer after this?
After completing the ToT, you'll be required to deliver SIYB training under the supervision of a Master Trainer. Once you conduct the sessions and submit reports, you can apply to become a fully licensed SIYB trainer through the ILO framework.
